House Calls

Most people don’t know that in older days many professionals made house calls. Doctors and Lawyers would frequently visit their clients in their homes. Good News! Sofa So Good is bringing back the house call.

There is a fair amount of fear and trepidation around ordering a custom sofa. Most people are not able to visualize the end product. To complicate that, a lot of people are spatially challenged, meaning they are unable to see how the new custom sofa will physically fit in their home.

We feel that if you are going to the effort of custom ordering a sofa, the experience should be a pleasant one from start to finish. A huge part of the overall experience is how you feel after the new sofa is in your home and you are using it on a regular basis.

If you live in the lower mainland area we are happy to come out to your home and help you make the right choices. Once you have  been into the store and picked out a style and some fabrics that you feel would work we can make an appointment to come out and confirm what you have selected will look fabulous (and actually physically fit through the door).

Alternatively, If you are at a complete loss as to where to start and are unable to come in to our store, we can come to your home to do a 30 minute consultation.

House calls are $100. (deducted from purchase within 30 days of the house call)

As an example, we had a customer who was concerned that the new sofa bed she was thinking of ordering would not fit into the small guest room in her condo. During our house call, we discovered she was absolutely right. There is no way it would fit into the doorway and into the room. We also found out the fabric she had chosen was not the most complimentary choice, either. It was exactly the same colour as  her walls and would have blended in with the wall instead of offering a pleasant contrast. So, in a quick 15 minutes we had averted a disaster.
